LoanDepot is a leading financial services company. The LoanDepot, Inc. data breach occurred between January 3 and January 5, 2024, and involved unauthorized access to personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, addresses, email addresses, financial account numbers, phone numbers, and dates of birth.

In a filing submitted to the Office of the Maine Attorney General on Friday, February 23, the Company disclosed that the breach resulted in the acquisition of personal identifiers in combination with Social Security numbers, affecting 16.9 million customers.
