Biography

Ms. Savett is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on complex class actions. Throughout her career, she has represented investors in securities fraud class actions, consumers in cases involving unlawful and deceptive practices, retirement plan participants in class actions alleging ERISA violations, and employees whose wages have been unlawfully withheld in class and collective actions.

Ms. Savett earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2024 and her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2003. She is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars in 2003.

In recognition of her work, Ms. Savett was named a “Super Lawyer” in Pennsylvania for Class and Mass Tort Litigation in 2024 and 2025, and she was selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2014 – 2017.

Representative Cases

  • Lee v. Enterprise Leasing Co.-West, 2015 WL 2345540 (D. Nev. May 15, 2015), 300 F.R.D. 466 (D. Nev. 2014), and 30 F.Supp.3d 1002 (D. Nev. 2014) − Obtained class certification, summary judgment, and approval of a settlement providing approximately 80% recovery of alleged damages in a consumer class action involving rental car overcharges.
  • Hasemann v. Gerber Products Co., 331 F.R.D. 239 (E.D.N.Y. 2019) − achieved class certification for purchasers of infant formula alleging improper marketing practices.
  • Parker v. GKN North America Services, Inc. (E.D. Mich. 2021) – represented plaintiffs in ERISA breach of fiduciary duty class action, achieving a $2.95 million settlement.
  • Avant v. VXL Enterprises LLC (N.D. Ca. 2021) – $1.2 million settlement in wage claim alleging underpayment due to misclassification as independent contractors.
  • Wilson v. Mom’s Organic Holding Co. (E.D. Pa. 2023) – successfully represented a class of former employees alleging COBRA notice violations.
  • Branson v. Alliance Coal, LLC (W.D. Kentucky 2019) – $15.2 million settlement in wage claims alleging underpayment due to unpaid pre- and post-shift work
