Edelson Lechtzin LLP is pleased to announce that Co-Managing Partner, Eric Lechtzin, has been selected for Super Lawyers 2021. This marks Mr. Lechtzin’s 5th consecutive selection in the area of Class Action and Mass Torts in Pennsylvania.
Being recognized as a Super Lawyer is an exceptional achievement. The title of a Super Lawyer indicates a lawyer has earned the respect of their clients as well their peers who nominated them. The final published list represents no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state.
The selection process for Super Lawyers is extremely rigorous, and involves four stages. It begins with being nominated and is followed by independent research by the Super Lawyer Selection Committee, peer evaluations by lawyers within the same practice area, and then the final selections. Importantly, a lawyer may not campaign or solicit nominations.
The Super Lawyer research department evaluates each lawyer in the candidate pool based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, which include: prominent verdicts or settlements, representative clients, experience, position within the firm, bar and other professional activities, community service, scholarly writings and research, and other outstanding achievements.
